Art Glass by Vicke Lindstrand for Kosta, Sweden - early 1950s

This beautiful piece of art glass dates to the early 1950s and was designed by Vicke Lindstrand (1904-1983) at Kosta long before the firm merged with Boda. He was a pioneer of Swedish glass art and early pieces like this are very sought after. It is acid etched to the base Lindstrand Kosta and the number of the piece LH1036 is hand scratched into the base which was customary in the early 1950s. This stunning bowl is in perfect condition and would be a lovely addition to any glass collection.
