Höglund Art Glass jug and bowl

This beautiful Höglund Art Glass pair dates from 1996. Both the jug and bowl still have their original stickers, as well as signed and dated bases. They are in perfect condition and would make great additions to a New Zealand art glass collection. Ola Höglund and Marie Simberg – Höglund were both born in Sweden, where the name Höglund was already associated with top quality modernist art glass through the work of Ola's father Erik Höglund. Ola and Marie travelled and worked internationally before settling in New Zealand in the early 1980s. 

Their work is internationally renowned and sought after by both public and private collectors worldwide. They have exhibited in more than 40 international exhibitions in New Zealand, Australia, Germany, Sweden, Denmark, the US, Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand, Dubai, Indonesia, Taipei and Japan. In 2000 they were invited to produce the art glass for the America's Cup campaign and the Sydney Olympics.
