Vintage onyx canister with metal rim

This elegant onyx canister is a really useful size. The veins in the stone give each side its own unique look. There is a metal rim on the edge of the canister and the upper edge of the lid. It probably dates from between 1960 and 1980. It is in very good condition with only minor knocks to surface consistent with age and use.
