Strömbergshyttan decanter - Sweden - mid century

This stunning small decanter was made by the celebrated Swedish firm Strömbergshyttan. Miraculously, it still has its original label but it is also signed on the base and features its product number O50. Luckily, the catalogues can be found online and this one features in the catalogue listed as pre 1954. Roughly translated the name equates to decanter, smooth - and it is certainly that. The shape is so elegant. There are some minor faint scratches to the exterior (shown with magnification in the photos) but it is otherwise in fantastic condition.
