Boxed set of sterling silver and guilloche enamel buttons, buckle and hatpins

This stunning set would have been the height of Edwardian elegance.This is beautiful, rare and complete boxed set from Levi & Salaman of Birmingham was assayed in 1909. It consists of two long hinged hat pins, a belt buckle, and six matching buttons of sterling silver and guilloche. The loops for attaching the buttons are all present and it comes nestled in its original box, which remains in excellent condition. There is some minor damage to the guilloche enamel on one of the hat pins. Levi & Salaman were well known for creating luxury vanity items, personal accessories and novelty items during this period. This is a truly outstanding set.

The buttons are marked sterling, the hat pins are unmarked and the buckle is marked L&S with hallmarks indicating is it Birmingham silver. This manner of marking was common for Levi and Salaman sets.
