Set of Five Wedgwood Lustreware Graduating Jugs
Wedgwood
$140.00
This set of five Wedgwood graduating jugs was made in the mid-twentieth century and features a silver lustre glaze. They look great together and are in very good order. Wedgwood is one of the most recognisable names in British ceramics. For over 260 years the company has set trends, producing fashionable, desirable ceramics for a broad range of consumers.
The company's founder Josiah Wedgwood I (1730 – 95) has been celebrated as a pioneer in manufacture, design and marketing. Many skilled people have worked for the company from its foundation in 1759 to the present day and as a result the name 'Wedgwood' has come to stand for quality workmanship that unites art and industry.
There are some small rubbed areas on the glaze on two of the jugs but they have no chips, cracks, crazing or repairs. The tallest is 140mm high and the smallest is 70mm high. The photographs show all the other measurements.
Please look closely at the photographs as they form an important part of the description. If you have any questions please get in touch (contact@eldercroftandsons.co.nz).
