Carlton Ware Buttercup Dish - c.1930s

This Carlton Ware Buttercup Dish is utterly charming. It was made in England but is an Australian design. The flower, stem and leaves to the side of the main buttercup functions as a kind of handle, allowing you to hold the dish while still showing the full flower. It is in excellent vintage condition - with no crazing, cracks, chips or repairs - close inspection shows a tiny amount of paint loss from the handle flower. It would be perfect for serving small treats or just a lovely way to inject some vintage style into your decor.
