Vest Tinn Pewter Trinket Dish - Norway

There is a long tradition of Pewter manufacturing in Norway and this small dish is one of two by different manufacturers currently in stock that depict the Viking ships so central to Norwegian history. This Vest Tinn vintage dish has lovely patina and would be lovely in a pewter or Scandinavian design collection. Tinn is the Norwegian word for pewter. The rim features images of a Viking voyage with viking ships interspersed with landscapes showing the passage of time by the depiction of the sun.
