Beswick Urn c.1950s

This lovely mid-century Beswick Urn is so elegant. The classical form and pale creamy glaze look great in any home. It is in outstanding vintage condition. This piece dates to the 1950s but its charm is timeless. Beswick pottery was founded in 1894 by James Wright Beswick and his sons John and Gilbert. The factory was located in Longton, Stoke-on-Trent. Originally, the manufactory produced tableware and ornamental items, but later became known for its porcelain figurines and gift items. They also made some fabulous vases.
