Pair of small antique glasses in miniature sterling silver mounts

I love the ram’s head handles and garlands decorating these beautiful sterling silver mounts. They also appear to have their original glass inserts that have their own lovely etched bow designs around the rim that echo those in the mounts below. This pair has import marks for Chester 1908 and the stamp of Berthold Muller who was well known for importing decorative pieces like these.

They are lovely little relics of an elegant past. In terms of purpose, I've seen many suggestions - hot tea - but I think they are too small for that, shot glass, possibly. I think they would be perfect for an after dinner liqueur. The condition is excellent and the level of detail in each small silver mount is remarkable. They would be a fantastic gift for someone who loves that perfect small piece of the past.
