Small mid-century brass bell with bird handle

This stylish bird handled bell was made in England and likely dates to between 1950 and 1970. The stylised bird form is easy to hold and really evokes 1960s style. There is no maker's mark but it is marked Made in England internally. 

I'm not a big polisher of brass as I generally like the patina that comes with age but this piece is an exception. It was looking quite dull so I have polished back some of its original shine but tried to keep the subtle signs of its age. If you prefer bright and shiny it can easily be polished back to that state.
