Howard Pewter Vintage Milk Jug/Creamer and Sugar Bowl - Hammered finish

Howard Pewter was produced by renowned Sheffield silversmiths Walker and Hall between c.1930 and 1939. This duo is typical of the stylish pieces they were known for, featuring a textured hammered/planished finish. While produced during the Art Deco period, they owe a debt stylistically to the Arts and Crafts movement. I was immediately taken by the elegant line of these pieces, which are in excellent vintage condition.
