Antique Majolica plate with banana leaf design c.1880s

There is something so warm and authentic about antique majolica - and personally I’m in love with the colours. The rim of this is more turquoise than my camera is able to capture. It features a design of banana leaves in the centre. It dates from around 1880 and is showing its age. There is an old and stable hairline crack and there are a couple of minor chips to the back corners but none of it is particularly noticeable when it’s on display and it’s part of the character acquired over its long life. It is 270mm long and 180mm wide.
