The unique shape and painterly green and gold design on this Art Deco Royal Doulton ‘Glamis’ pattern part tea set is so elegant. It dates from the 1930s and is in wonderful condition. I’m always tempted by Royal Doulton china in good condition and Art Deco was my first love back in the 1990s so it was sure to come home with me. The partial set includes a cake/sandwich plate, milk jug and four trios. If you would prefer to purchase pieces separately, please get in touch directly.

Founded in 1815 by John Doulton in Lambeth, London, Royal Doulton evolved from a utilitarian stoneware manufacturer (pipes, jars) into a renowned producer of fine china, porcelain, and collectible figurines. The firm gained royal recognition in 1901 from King Edward VII after expanding into artistic ceramics and, later, high-end tableware.

Please look closely at the photographs as they form an important part of the description. If you are based in Wellington, free delivery is available in the central, southern and eastern suburbs, or for $5 in the northern and western suburbs. If you would like further information, please get in touch directly (contact@eldercroftandsons.co.nz).
