Art Nouveau / Secessionist WMF Brass Pedestal Bowl or Centrepiece

This fabulous antique pedestal bowl or centrepiece was made by WMF (Würtemburgische Machin Fabrik AB) between 1906 and 1920. It would look fantastic on a dining table, console or shelf. You could fill in with flowers or fruit or just enjoy its sculptural beauty. From handle to handle it is 310mm long, the bowl internally is 230mm in diameter and it stands 180mm high. I haven’t polished it as I love the patina of antique metal and once it has been erased it will take years to develop again but it could certainly be polished to a bright shine if that is your preference. There is a very minor dent to the column base that doesn’t affect its stability at all. It probably originally had a glass liner.
