Fob medal shield earrings - sterling silver Birmingham 1930

I love fob medals - they were once popular accessories attached to pocket watch chains. I have one on a chain I wear often and I have sold many more - they make fabulous pendants but these lovely earrings are a first for me. The original maker has acquired two identical unawarded fob medals and created this beautiful and quite substantial pair of earrings. They could be personalised with monograms or messages if desired. They are sterling silver with a layer of rose gold over the central shield. They were assayed in Birmingham in 1930 so are swiftly moving toward antique status.
