Victorian Emerald Glass Double-ended Scent Bottle with Silver Mounts

This Victorian emerald glass double ended scent bottle  is such a lovely piece to hold in your hands. It would have originally held perfume at one end and most likely smelling salts at the other. I love the colour of the glass, which is in excellent condition. The caps and mounts are silver, unmarked like a lot of these small pieces. I took it in for XRF testing and it is 90.8% silver. The hinge has broken and could probably be repaired but it still fits perfectly so isn’t necessary unless you plan to use it. It probably also originally had a glass stopper at that end, which is no longer present. This lovely piece of Victorian craftsmanship is a true delight.
