Vintage Japanese Kiri (Pawlonia) Wood Ikebana Vase with Lacquered Design

This beautiful tall Japanese ikebana vase is made from kiri (pawlonia) wood and features a low relief lacquered bird on a vine design. It dates from the first half of the twentieth century and is in good condition. It still has its original copper liner to hold water and the necessary flower frog.
