Fabulous old Indian copper paan box with original internal containers and tray

This fabulous Indian copper paan box (also known as pandan or paan daan) is certainly vintage and likely antique. I was thrilled to find it also includes the internal containers used to store ingredients for making paan as well as a beautiful tray. The containers would have held betel leaf, areca nut, lime paste and various flavourings. It has had some knocks consistent with age and use but it is a really beautiful piece. You could polish the copper back to its original shine if that is your preference but personally I love the patina that comes with age. Prior to online listing it is available for NZ$205 plus postage.
