Pair of Crown Lynn Honey Glaze Mugs - 1281

This pair of Crown Lynn mugs is in fantastic condition. The only flaw is some marks from overly vigorous stirring, which has been photographed with magnification, but is barely visible to the naked eye. Crown Lynn is such an iconic part of mid-century New Zealand culture. I particularly love their honey glaze mugs, perfect for your morning coffee, tea or hot chocolate. These are so nostalgic of life when I was growing up in the 1970s and 1980s. 

Crown Lynn Potteries was a iconic New Zealand ceramics manufacturer based in New Lynn, Auckland, operating from 1929 to 1989. Originating from the Amalgamated Brick and Pipe Company, it became the largest domestic pottery producer in New Zealand, known for producing durable tableware and iconic "Kiwiana" pieces like the swan vase.
