Vintage Shelley Bone China Creamer Jug - Kutani Crane Tangerine Pattern 8589

This beautiful, highly collectible fine bone china creamer jug was made by Shelley Potteries, England. This piece features the striking Kutani Crane variant, Pattern No. 8589 (officially known as "Cranes on Tangerine"), displaying vibrant oriental birds set against a rich orange/tangerine glaze.

The base bears the authentic grey/green Shelley shield backstamp ("Shelley" enclosed in a shield with "Made In England" split above and below), alongside the hand-painted pattern registration number 8589 which date the jug to the late 1920s or early 1930s.

Excellent vintage condition. Absolutely no chips, cracks, crazing, or repairs. There are some light, minor surface scratches to the orange tangerine glaze from normal handling over the years. Please view the close-up photos to assess this vintage character.
