Fabulous Vintage 1950s Dandy Duck clothes/shoe brush

This fabulous Dandy Duck clothes and / or shoe brush was made in England under the brand name Versabrush by Hughes Brushes in the 1950s. The head and neck form the handle of the brush, which when not in use is neatly stowed inside the stand representing the duck’s body. I particularly love the marbled plastic body, it may be Bakelite or another early plastic. It is the perfect mid-century novelty piece for the bird lover in your life… It’s in great condition with only some minor paint loss to the beak. 🦆❤️
