Mid-century Hand-carved Gazelle

This elegant gazelle has been beautifully carved from a single piece of wood. It was most likely made in Kenya in the 1960s. These carved pieces were very popular in mid-century decor. I have had a number of birds in the past but this is my first antelope. I love the grain of the wood. It has had a few minor knocks but there’s no major damage to report.
